My Harley’s Pipes

I’ve had these ripple pipes for four years, waiting for the right bike to use them on.

Old galvanized exhaust pipe. Very hard to find. This is all I have left and it was very stressful actually cutting them. A friend of mine wants these scraps as I told him he could have whatever I didn’t use. Ha!

Front pipe placement.

Rear pipe matching up to the front one.

Now my kickstart sticks out too far. Looking for a new one now.

Yes I know the zipties will melt. Thanks Tyson.

Final job. Now to finish welding and then off to have chromed.

Progress shots of my ‘65 Harley

I’ve been working on the Harley little by little this fall. Goal is to have it on the road by the spring. Here are some shots of my progress.

Finally like the look of the headlight and handlebars.

I’m still going to cut the fender tabs and reflector bits off the forks.

Mid shift done and it works! (was not easy). Modified triumph peg too.

My Harley’s handlebar’s finishing touches

The last touch on my handlebars. I welded little tabs on the handlebars to keep them from rotating so I don’t have to use a crossbar. Now they are off to chroming.
